Maria Mendoza is a senior at Yale University finishing her B.S. in Neuroscience. She is most interested in clinical neuroscience and psychiatry, with a focus on schizophrenia and related psychotic disorders. Maria is working in the Corlett Lab on her thesis studying the effects of meditation practices on the development of schizophrenic symptoms. In the future, she hopes to further pursue her clinical research studies at medical school.
