Gabriella is a third-year pre-med student working as an undergraduate research assistant in the Belief Lab. She is interested in studying differences in how psychosis symptoms are expressed and how varying factors affect treatment outcomes. Currently, she is studying how perceived control affects levels of self-stigma and symptomatology in patients diagnosed with schizophrenia. Her work in the lab mainly consists of interacting with patients and helping conduct clinical assessments. She plans to pursue an MD-PhD following graduation with an interest in neurosurgical oncology. In her free time, she enjoys practicing martial arts, playing tennis, drawing, and listening to opera music.
